Senior SAP Developer - Enterprise Mobility

Job Description:

Sky Technologies is looking for a very experienced SAP developer who is looking to work in the exciting field of Enterprise Mobility. This position at Sky requires a developer with no less than 7 years development experience within SAP. You will know SAP well but will also have the ability to engage directly with clients. The role includes the following responsibilities:

  • working with clients to understand business and technical requirements
  • development of functional and technical designs for the mobile application
  • leading projects, including project management, client relationships, development teams
  • "hands on" development, working as part of the delivery team

The role will leverage your experience in delivering high quality solutions to our clients. It will enable your client facing skills to shine, while also giving you the opportunity to participate as part of a delivery team.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • As outlined above you will have a minimum of 7 years SAP development skills. 
  • You will be proficient in ABAP and be familiar with interfacing.
  • Having worked with SAP you will also be familiar with key functional elements. This will be important when working with our clients to understand their business requirements and translating them into a mobile application design.
  • Any exposure to mobile development (MEAP platforms) will be an added bonus.

SAP Solution Architect for Mobile Applications

Sky Technologies - Office based in Kings Langley (Watford, United Kingdom)

Job Description

Sky Technologies has been mobilizing business systems for more than 14 years.  With a blue chip client base that continues to expand Sky Technologies is looking for an experienced Senior Solution Architect (based in our UK office) to assist with the delivery of mobile applications to our clients. The role will involve working closely with team members, customers and all levels of management.

Experience in delivering mobility projects in preferred.

Key Objectives

  • Manage client projects, with a strong focus on solution functionality and management of deliverables
  • Analyze, define, develop and articulate our template solutions that address specific customer requirements, with a strong focus on SAP

Primary Responsibilities

  • Scope a client’s business process and / or technology requirements as part of the project blueprint phase
  • Work has part of the delivery team, implementing the designed application
  • Manage solution scope, issues and risks
  • Maintain continued contact with the R&D team to stay informed of Sky’s new technology offerings
  • Work with the sales team to assist with the estimating of effort for the services component of new projects
  • Mentor and coach less experienced consultants

Relevant Experience

Bachelor degree or higher with at least 5 years of relevant experience working in the SAP marketplace. Our preference is for a consultant with exposure to Sky Technologies software or other mobile application platforms. Typically, SAP experience will include:

  • Functional knowledge of SAP
  • Implementation of SAP solutions to clients in a variety of industry verticals
  • Experience with the technical elements of SAP, in particular integration and interface management (ABAP)
  • Strong knowledge of business processes and how they are applied and managed in SAP
  • Excellent written and communication skills
