CPS Energy wanted to improve their time recording and data entry processes in order to eliminate problems with posting delays, entry errors (and time spent correcting those errors), and working with a paper-based system. They chose Sky Technologies as their mobile enterprise solution partner and were able to mobilize their work orders and time-posting out to the shop floor and convert them to entirely paperless processes. The importance of user buy-in, standard vs. custom applications, increase in process efficiency, and ease of SAP integration are also discussed.
