Get the most out of SkyMobile

Sky Technologies offer a comprehensive SkyMobile certification program to both Customers and Partners. The program provides an online training tutorial, access to the Sky training environment and a final exam.

The primary objective of certification is to ensure that you are getting the most out of the SkyMobile platform in terms of understanding the possible architectures, Integrated Development Environment (IDE), interface management and integration options as well as the ongoing systems management. Staff undergoing this process will be more effective and your organization will save significant costs through better efficiency and knowledge.

The certification is for a specific release of the SkyMobile platform and is valid for three years. A new version of the core system certification material is provided with every major SkyMobile release. Sky provides all of the materials and training / testing systems and access to the Sky Developer Network (SDN) to download software and access the knowledge base.

Core system certification training is a tool that can be utilized by organizations that already have the SkyMobile software in place as well as those undertaking an implementation; or in the initial stages of evaluating the product.

By completing the certification, delegates will perform a „deep dive‟ into the SkyMobile technology, thus gaining all the skills and knowledge required to effectively deploy and manage mobile solutions.

Sky has many satisfied customers due to the fact that once the initial implementation is completed and staff are certified, they can independently support their mobile solutions without relying on external specialized consultants. This significantly reduces the total cost of ownership.

Similarly, any organization considering a business mobile solution can fully scrutinize the technology; and after gaining insight into the capabilities of SkyMobile, can make an educated and detailed evaluation of the products suitability.

How it works

Delegates must first register with the Sky Developer Network. SDN is provided free to all Sky Customers and Partners. The online portal provides all the functionality required to register and schedule a certification request. The delegate can then monitor the request online and is automatically provided with all of the information required via email correspondence.

Detailed documentation outlining the overall functionality of the SDN portal and the certification process is available from Sky. Delegates are given a specific number of days to complete the online training and exercises. Once completed, participants then undertake an online multiple choice examination with an allotted period of time. Once the exam is completed, a pass mark is recorded and delegates will receive a certificate from Sky denoting they are “Sky Certified”.
